On September 18th, 2011, my husband Leif Mickens had passed from internal injuries he suffered as a result of a tragic car accident. We had just celebrated our 11th wedding anniversary on August 25th and were both looking forward to a new year and our 13th wedding anniversary {yes, we love odd numbers and the number 13!}.
Unfortunately, I will not have the opportunity to celebrate any future wedding anniversaries with him, however there is never a second that he is not on my mind, in my thoughts or in my heart. Even though he was taken away from me, our family and his friends much too soon, the times and memories we shared will never be taken away from me.
Leif was an extremely genuine person who has so many amazing friends and family members that miss and love him dearly. He is also deeply missed by his three best friends, BooBoo, BamBam and SweetPea.I wanted to take this time to thank everybody for their outpour of love and support during this difficult time as our family tries to find our way back into life without Leif around. I also want to thank all my clients who are being so patient with me as I am trying to restructure Strawberri Graphix.
